Mr. Hornblower, an up-and-coming industrialist, is buying up land in the county, much to the disgust of the old money Hillcrists. They previously sold a property to Hornblower with the proviso that the current tenants would not be evicted and now he's kicking them out so that he can build on the land.
Storyline
Mr. Hornblower, an up-and-coming industrialist, is buying up land in the county, much to the disgust of the old money Hillcrists. They previously sold a property to Hornblower with the proviso that the current tenants would not be evicted and now he's kicking them out so that he can build on the land.
After a bit of skulduggery at the auction, Hornblower buys up a prized piece of land, further cementing his hold on the region. Now the Hillcrists come into some information which should persuade Hornblower to back off.
