Zurich narcotics detective Herbert Straehl is a pill-popping choleric detoxifying from love. During his attempt to arrest a prominent Albanian drug pusher, René and Carol, a junkie couple, thwart him. When Straehl loses his job he suddenly finds himself caught in the two junkies' mercy. But Straehl doesn't give up.
