Moving back, she' encouraged after nightmares by her mother to return to sheriff Watkins to change her story: Sam is a murderer who kidnapped abused her, yet he passes the liar test, unlike her, so she's laughed away, lacking any evidence. However Sam's scary record warrants a new investigation, with a psychiatrist triggering her memory.
